Linde’s extensive experience with deflashing has generated non-standard deflashing equipment for a variety of industries, like the tire industry. With our partners, Linde can offer turn-key deflashing systems that can meet virtually any industrial demand.
Cryogenic deflashing uses liquid nitrogen (LIN) to remove flash from rubber-molded parts. Low temperatures cause flashes on parts made of rubber, plastic and some types of metal to temporarily become so brittle that they break when subjected to stress. Various types of machines are used to deflash a wide range of molded parts, to maintain output and revenue and prevent production line problems.
Linde uses LIN in cryogenic deflashing. LIN has largely replaced conventional refrigeration, as it offers many advantages:
Easier to handle
Greater operational reliability
Wider range of applications
Can operate at temperatures approaching -320°F(-196°C)
Cryogenic deflashing meets increasing demands for safe, fast and cost-effective operations. Contact us to learn how Linde’s deflashing technology can optimize your production and provide good return on investment.
